About the Sign Language Classes
On Monday nights, starting September 21, 2009, Care on the Corner will be offering Communicating With Your Hands (a sign language course). The classes will be held in the sanctuary of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 229 Terrace Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights.
Classes continue for ten weeks on Monday nights, from 7:00 P.M – 9:00 P.M, until December 7th. You will be learning the fundamentals of sign language in Signed Exact English (EE). There is a materials fee of $50. This includes a manual, which was created by the instructor and weekly handouts.
For more information about the Communicating With Your Hands Class, please call the Care Center 201-288-9460 ext 5. A registration form, accompanied by the materials fee, must be completed for each student, by Friday, September 18, 2008.
